Professor Mr.Parveen Kumar Issar,

Our talented and beloved Professor from Department of English. He was an active singer of our GCE's orchestra, he is an inspiration for our students' through his singing and passion for music. He started his journey with us since June 1978, when he was transferred to Government College of Engineering, Salem from College of Engineering, Guindy -Chennai. After his retirement in 2006, at present he stays at PSN, Whitefield - Bengaluru.

As of 2024 , Professor Parveen kumar is 78 and is well known for his profound passion for singing. With emotions transcending everyday in his life, he started Singing on Smule and Starmaker allowing him to express joy and exhilaration. Currently is available on all the three platforms including YouTube with the name Parkissar where he shares his voice to the world and unites people through the art of music.
